Deb Van Dyke—Director and Producer—has over 25 years experience on the frontlines of health care—as a clinician, trainer, and humanitarian aid project coordinator, often with MSF/Doctors Without Borders. Deb is instrumental in all phases of the design and production of our videos.
Mark Binder—Co-Producer and filmmaker—worked for over a decade as a documentary filmmaker and free-lance cameraman in South Africa, Lesotho, and Cape Verde. Mark has worked on Global Health Media Project shoots in the Dominican Republic, Nigeria, and India.
Bishnu Kalpit—filmmaker—lives in Kathmandu, Nepal and has been working as a cameraman for the past 15 years. His work has been featured by BBC World and Al Jazeera English, as well as several Nepali news agencies. He has worked as director of photography in a dozen Nepali feature films.
Peter Kent—filmmaker—specializes in high-quality video for broadcast, corporate, educational, and non-profit clients. Over the past 30 years, Peter has shot for all the major broadcast and cable networks, including NBC, CBS, ABC and PBS; the Discovery Channel; National Geographic; and Comedy Central. He has covered major events such as the inauguration of Barack Obama.
Andrea Campbell—filmmaker—is an award-winning director, producer, editor, and videographer who has filmed all over the world. Andrea specializes in documentary and personal profiles, and is currently filming Village Stories, profiles of artisans creating fair trade products in West and East Africa.
Tony Bacon—editor—is an Emmy Award winning editor turned director/producer who specializes in documentary filmmaking. Tony’s documentary editing credits include award-winning programs for all the major documentary networks (History Channel, Discovery Channel, NOVA, National Geographic, BBC, and HBO), as well as a variety of corporate and commercial work.
Laurie House—editor—has produced, directed, written, and edited for many TV programs and her work has aired on A&E Biography, ESPN, Fox TV, American Movie Classics, MTV, ABC, NBC, PBS, The History Channel, Animal Planet, Outdoor Life Network, HGTV, as well as in numerous festivals. She now works at TED Conferences in New York City.
Yoni Goodman—animator—renowned for his work as director of animation for the acclaimed film Waltz with Bashir. Yoni animates short films, clips, and commercials, mainly for human rights organizations, and is currently working as director of animation for the upcoming feature The Futurological Congress.
Lorelei Pepei—animator—is an international award-winning independent animator whose work ranges from highly experimental film to narrative form cartoons. She has been recognized with numerous grants and now teaches at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and the Rhode Island School of Design.
Charlotte Blake Alston—narrator—is a master storyteller, professional narrator, instrumentalist, and singer who has performed at a wide range of venues worldwide including the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and the Women of the World Festival in South Africa.
Eran Spira—post-production assistant—is a film composer, music editor, and computer technician, who is currently enrolled in a graduate program at the Berklee College of Music.
