The Story of Cholera has won several prestigious awards that recognize its significant contribution to social change, its exceptional educational value, and the high quality of the animation:



The Accolade Competition

International Film Festival for Environment, Health, & Culture: Award of Excellence

The animation has also been selected to compete in several acclaimed international film festivals.  The Story of Cholera was among 170 films chosen for the Annecy International Animation Film Festival (France), out of more than 2,400 entries. It is one of six animation films recently screened at the Philadelphia Independent Film Festival.  A full listing of “official selections” follows:
