Diabetes Series

Our Diabetes Series is designed to help guide providers in developing countries in good diabetes care; help people with diabetes with their own care; and help the general public increase their understanding of this disease.

More than half a billion adults worldwide are living with diabetes, and nearly 75% of them live in low- and middle-income countries. The potential impact of our series of videos on preventing and managing diabetes makes this series one of the most important we have ever produced.

The Diabetes Series provide key content on prevention and care that targets three global audiences:  people with diabetes, frontline health workers, and the general public.

Recognizing Type 1 Diabetes.v2

Diabetes is one of the greatest health challenges of the 21st Century – and it’s hitting low- and middle-income countries the hardest.

World Diabetes Foundation website

We established a key collaboration with the World Diabetes Foundation to assist in identifying content experts and potential film sites. Footage was filmed in Kenya and Sri Lanka in 2022. A few videos contain footage from the First Foods for Young Children video series with kind permission from UNICEF.
