David Copithorne

Dave Copithorne is a long-time marketing consultant with a focus on corporate social responsibility. Previously he served as CEO of Porter Novelli International, where he advised global consumer, technology and health care companies and some of the world’s largest non-profit organizations. Porter Novelli pioneered the field of social marketing through its award-winning work with the anti-tobacco Legacy Foundation’s “Truth” campaign and other work for the clients ranging from the U.S. Center for Disease Control to the American Cancer society. David graduated from Harvard College.
