Joshua Bress is a pediatrician and the medical director of a non-profit organization called Global Strategies and an Assistant Research Professor at the University of Connecticut in the Institute for Collaboration on Health, Intervention and Policy. He graduated from Vanderbilt School of Medicine and completed his pediatric residency at the University of California San Francisco. He first encountered Global Health Media Project through its films, using them in his clinical work abroad and in the United States. He is an advocate for using digital technology to improve healthcare, including the use of films to depict physical signs and hands-on medical procedures.
