Videos Help Ensure Safe Reproductive Care
We have published five videos for health care providers that show how to correctly perform the important steps of cleaning and sterilizing their work environment and instruments.
Two of the videos provide information on safely managing a reproductive health clinic. Preventing Infection in the Clinic discusses clean clinic practices that help prevent infection in clients and in health workers. Organizing the Clinic Room shows how to arrange a clinic room for counseling and procedures so that it is clean, private, and ready with needed equipment and supplies.
Three videos focus on handling instruments to protect yourself and those you are caring for: packaging them for sterilization (Wrapping Instruments for Sterilization) and ways to set up and organize instruments for a safe and efficient workflow for certain procedures (Setting Up for an IUD Insertion and Setting Up for Implant Procedures).
