Janet is a registered midwife and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) with extensive experience working in international education and building global relations to improve the health outcomes of infants. Her unique experience of working in the field as a midwife and IBCLC, in industry as an international educator and also for a global foundation focusing on research for breastfeeding and human milk brings a diverse quality to her portfolio. Empowering women to enable them to make informed choices and giving them knowledge to support them in the passage to motherhood is really important for her. She enjoys to focus on projects that will have an impact on women’s experiences of childbirth and the post-natal period on a global basis.
