Jonathan has been a consultant to international development donors and implementing organizations for 20 years, focusing on program strategy, performance and evaluation. He managed a large portfolio of pediatric HIV grants in Africa on the staff of the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation (UK), as well as a nine-country partnership with PEPFAR. A former journalist for Business Week magazine, Jonathan also served as program director for Wild4life Health, a health systems-strengthening NGO in rural Zimbabwe, for eight years.
