Laurie has worked as a Director/Producer/Editor for over 25 years in non-fiction Television and Independent Film. She studied Neuroscience at Oberlin and Film in the MFA program at California Institute of the Arts. For the last 8 years, Laurie directed, produced and edited at TED Talks, where she led the buildout of TED’s first in house theater and helped develop new show formats.
