Project Description
This animation—produced in collaboration with International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, UNICEF, and Yoni Goodman—brings to life key messages that help people see and understand how Ebola spreads and how to protect themselves and their communities.
Very good Deb.
Animation wonderful, especially the fluids
Very well done, allover good work. Animation, Story, everything… Is this also something we can use and share like the Videos? For your Information, I am working in development cooperation.
Thanks again,
Seynabou
yes Seynabou. The video can be shared. Thanks
I really enjoyed this video and think it is very effective.
Hi Deb,
Congratulations! It is a very nice simplified video. I like the idea that you chose to use a child as the narrator.
Do you intend to have an audio version to be aired on radio (or text messages via mobile phones) since most villages are more likely to have radios (audio devices) than TVs etc?
In case you decide to do more animations, a suggestion is— to add one that teaches the community what to do if someone is infected in the family and the health care facility is very far—i.e., focusing on local strategies regarding infection control/prevention procedures
All the very best,
Susan
This a good video especially the simple use of words. It also show the importance of community involvement in the fight against Ebola. well done Deb. It will take community collaboration and cooperation to end this fight. Thank you for this video.
Kenny
Excellent job! It is an easy-to-understand and culturally-appropriate material. My suggestion is that the two scenes of washing hands could be a little bit improved.
Simple is always good.. Brilliant work..
I agree with the positive comments and wonder about how this animation is spread through the African communities. Further, I liked information about preventive methods and transmission modes (traditional health education) but rather think that more complicated issues such as safe burial should be encompassed within a broader action of health promotion, intended as effectively involving local people by empowering them and not only informing or disseminating information. Even if very well articulated and developed from a communicative viewpoint.
Amazing!
Thanks for your work!
Its very helpful.
Excellent, very descriptive and easy to understand video. Well done animation and I agree with Susan, I really like the fact that a child was used as the narrator, this should help with communication.
Very good video for our local community education activities on Ebola.
